Tarian Mystics

Tarian Mystics are the naturalists of the Felosian race. Their primary role is to care for not just the land and its animals, but for the spiritual well-being of the realm and their people. Many become the leaders of their villages, while others travel the countryside to experience the spenders of the natural world. Because of their quiet mannerisms and strong connection to nature, they are sometimes referred to as the "Druids of the Felosians".

In their daily lives, they try to maintain at least some sense of detachment, reguardless of their individual views.

Becoming a Tarian Mystic is no easy task. One must be born with certain natural abilities that can be shaped and refined through discipline in the art of spellcasting. High intelligence and wisdom are important for their spellcasting and other abilities.

Tarian Mystics have access to a select array of divine spells to aid them in their journeys. However, Tarian Mystics also have access to an array of wizard spells dealing with the elements. This makes them formidable opponents as well as beneficial allies.

Although Tarian Mystics are strong with magic, their skills with armor and weapons suffer. They are limited to armor and weapons typically used by druids and wizards. Tarian Mystics can wear any type of natural armor (leather, bone, shell, etc.) without penalty to their wizard spells. They cannot use any type of metal armors such as chain mail or plate mail. The only exception to these rules is elven chain; its unique properties allow the Mystic to wear it without penalty.

This class is meant for use with the Felosian race only, but if the DM desires, it may be adapted for use with other campaigns and player character races. If you do this, it is recommended you use a different class name to avoid confusion, such as "Elemental Mystic" for example.
