Hailing from the nation of Sembia, Roc became a barbarian out of necessity. The rich merchants and barons of Sembia drove his people from their lands, forcing them to live as animals in the wild in order to survive. While he delighted in disrupting the trade routes of the merchants for years, he eventually decided to seek adventure elsewhere, and became intrigued by stories about a group of heroes from Dagger Falls.
