D20 Universal Spell Sheet - Usage Tips

At the bottom of this page, are links to several Universal Spell sheets, which combine a spellcaster's "Learned Spells" list and their "Spells Per Day" list into a single, easy-to-use spellcasting list.

For this type of sheet, you simply fill in each spell your character knows and uses on a regular basis. The sheet currently can hold 22 spells of each spell level (including spells prepared with MetaMagic feats). If your character knows more spells than the sheet can currently hold, you can simply leave out any spells you never (or rarely) use. You can always swap it in for one already on the sheet, if needed.

Spells Per Day
For classes that must prepare their spells each day (such as wizards and clerics), enter how many times you've memorized that spell for the day in the # column. When you cast a spell, subtract 1 from the number next to that particular spell.

For classes that do not have to prepare spells in advance (such as Sorcorers and Bards), start each spell at 0 (zero) in the # column each day. When you cast a spell, add 1 to the number next to that particular spell.

Regardless of your class, the sum of this column cannot exceed your total spells per day for that level.

MetaMagic
Enter the spell in the list with the higher-level spells, as dictacted by the Metamagic feat. Enter an abbreviation in the Meta column to indicate which Metamagic feat is being used on that spell. Possible abbreviations include "SI" for Silent Spell, "EL" for Enlarge Spell, "MX" for Maximize Spell, etc.

Spell Components
In the SVM column, enter"S" for Somantic, "V" for Verbal, and "M" for Material.

Printing
The sheets are designed to be easily printed right from your browser.
Simply click on one of the links below, select the color of your choice at the top of that page, and print!
You can also save the pages to your local computer, and print them from there.

For best appearance, set your browser's print margins to no more than 0.5", and set it to print background colors. I also recommend that you use "Print Preview" to check that each page of the spell sheet does not go past the bottom margin. If it does, try making your top and bottom margins smaller, or use the brower's or printer's scaling so each page fits.
